New Appointments: Harbour Grand Kowloon announces Marc-Paul Pennaneach as Director of Food & Beverage - (Hong Kong, 20  September, 2012)

Harbour Grand Kowloon is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc-Paul Pennaneach as Director of Food & Beverage.  With over 25 years of experience both in Hong Kong and overseas, Marc-Paul brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

His Career

From an early age the love and passion for food, which are the contributing factors for Marc-Paul’s success, could be found in abundance in the Pennaeach home where food and the partaking of it was a constant and passionate topic.

After relocating to Hong Kong as a family from France, Marc-Paul knew early on that he wanted to pursue a career surrounded by his two loves; food and wine.  Armed with his Higher Diploma in Institutional Management and Catering he stepped out and has never looked back.

Marc-Paul has been described as an individual of passion, innovation, open-mindedness and dynamism.  His love for food has taken him from Hong Kong to Macau to Sydney and back to Hong Kong.  Along the way he has developed a meticulous brand of management that, mixed with his diverse experience, makes him an asset to any establishment.

Marc-Paul joins Harbour Grand Kowloon from Stamford Grand North Ryde Hotel in Sydney Australia where he held the position of Executive Assistant Manager.  He has previously worked for such respected names as Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16, The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, The Excelsior and Marco Polo Hotel in Hong Kong.

On the appointment of Marc-Paul Pennaneach, General Manager, Jonathan Wilson says, “We are thrilled to have someone of Marc-Paul’s experience and expertise join our team.  Hong Kong’s palate is continually changing and we are hoping to give them something to really talk about.”
