‘Bringing Back the Oldies’ at Harbour Grand Kowloon

(Hong Kong, 04 July 2011) – Hong Kong during the 1960s and ‘70s is one many locals look back on with very fond memories.  As a tribute to those golden days of Hong Kong, Harbour Grand Kowloon presents ‘Bringing Back the Oldies’ with themed rooms filled with memorabilia from the time past as well as favourite foods from that time featured as part of our international buffet.

Retro Room…

Relax in a Deluxe Harbourview room with large sweeping bay windows overlooking the magnificent Victoria Harbour.  Indulge in our complimentary ‘Welcome Dim Sum Platter’ for two and take in all that modern Hong Kong has to offer on the outside whilst coming back to retro Hong Kong in-room. Walking your taste buds down memory lane…

A reminiscing of the past is not complete without letting your senses take in the smells and flavours of the time.  With each bite, memories come rushing back and you are transported back to another time.  The Promenade has prepared a retro menu just for the occasion as part of its international dinner buffet.  For the simpler times; a traditional noodle station featuring curry fish balls and braised beef brisket or traditional typhoon style station serving up Aberdeen swimming crab congee and Sampan seafood congee.  For a taste of the extravagant; Classic braised shark’s fin soup, Braised abalone with goose web and mushroom in oyster sauce and Gui Ling Gao.  July 15 – August 31, 2011.
