A Burgundy Journey: Château Le Dôme Wine Dinner

In association with Château Le Dôme Harbour Grand Kowloon’s Harbour Grill together with Watson’s Wine Wholesale will stage a five-course wine dinner on Thursday 12 May, 2011.

Mr Etienne Paumier, Assistant Wholesale Manager of Watson’s Wine Wholesale will share his experience and introduce the wines throughout the course of the dinner which will be served with a tantalising five-course menu especially prepared for the evening.  Each item on the menu is matched with a wine that brings to the palate a blossoming experience of exquisite French flavours elevated by beautifully crafted wines.

Château Le Dôme

Le Dôme originates from a 3.2 hectare vineyard on the hillsides near Château Angelus where the terroir is sand over layers of crasse de fer, a type of iron.  Le Dome utilises one the highest concentrations of cabernet franc in the Right Bank. 75% of the vineyard is planted with cabernet franc. The remainder of this Bordeaux wine vineyard is planted with old vine merlot.  Owner-winemaker Jonathan Maltus crafts here a mere 1,000 cases of a gorgeous, powerful and multi-layered wine.

The evening will commence with a cocktail reception at 7.30pm followed by dinner at 8:00pm.  This sumptuous five-course wine dinner created by our talented Chef is priced at HK$1,188 plus 10% service charge per person.  (No discounts or privileges will be applicable for this dinner).
