Harbour Grand Hong Kong, embracing 180-degree harbour view, will present specially designed menus and Chinese New Year Firework Room Packages to welcome the Year of Dragon on 24 January 2012.

 

Firework Room Packages

Appreciate the fireworks with the beloved or friends with Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbour as the setting in guestrooms would be an enviable choice to kick off the Year of Dragon. Room packages include breakfast and dinner buffet for two at Harbour Grand Café, late check-out till 3 pm and more. Prefer panoramic harbour view to accompany a scrumptious dinner? Guests can opt for a 6-course set dinner for two at Le 188˚ Restaurant & Lounge at a special supplement. Chinese New Year Firework Room Packages start from just HK$3,588.

 

Le 188° Restaurant & Lounge

Chef Eric Heijkoop, the new and gifted Chef de Cuisine of the restaurant, has fashioned a 6-couse set dinner to go with gigantic sparkles in the sky. Priced at HK$1,588 per person, it includes sampling chef’s creations like Tartare of Oyster, Pan-fried Duck Foie Gras, Fillet of Angus Beef and Kumquat Confit with Osmanthus Flowers…plus enchanting live music. Additional HK$550 per person for five glasses of pairing wine.

To wish all a prosperous year ahead, talented chefs have prepared exquisite set dinner menus endowed with their whole-hearted blessings. Braised Whole South African 6-head Abalone with Goose Web in Oyster Sauce, Braised Shark’s Fin Soup with Crab Meat, Braised Prawns in Superior Broth Accompanied with Inaniwa Udon, and the signature dessert, Sweetened Almond Cream with Egg White with Black Sesame Dumplings and more. Set dinner menus from HK$788 per person.

What about celebrating the Year of Dragon and appreciating the firework display with a gang of friends? The floor-to-ceiling window on three sides with sumptuous seafood-themed selections on the 80-foot long buffet counter will be diners choice. Scampi Tartar with Caviar, Halibut Fillet with Hazelnut Nebbiolo Sauce and Crispy Artichoke, Seafood Paella and more. The 12 flavours of Mövenpick ice-cream should not be missed. Dinner buffet priced at HK$728 per adult and HK$428 per child.

 

The Promenade

All guests ordering set dinner or dinner buffet at the abovementioned restaurants on the night can proceed to The Promenade to enjoy the firework display.
